Job summary

McKee Foods is seeking a District Sales Representative to drive customer development and relationships with independent distributors and retailers across Tallahassee and surrounding districts. You will provide sales support, grow snack cake product sales, and help distributors expand market share.

Ideal candidates have 2+ years in account management or sales leadership in food/beverage or grocery, can work from home, and are comfortable starting early (4:00 AM).

Qualifications

• 2+ total years of account management or sales leadership in food, beverage or grocery.
• District includes Tallahassee, FL; live in the district or willing to relocate.
• Ability to develop accounts and build rapport with new and existing clients.
• Proficiency with business software; willingness to learn Google Workspace.
• Ability to work from home and start early (4:00 AM).
• Clear driver’s license record and safety conscious.

Responsibilities

• Build strong relationships with independent distributors in the district.
• Recruit and appoint quality distributorship candidates.
• Offer orientation to new distributors and liaise with McKee Foods.
• Develop relationships with retailers and gain product space/ promotions approval.
• Communicate regularly with independent distributors and assist with business plans.
• Manage the sales territory and balance DSR before ending territory if needed.
• Support Distributor Accounts and Retail Accounts Receivable as needed.
• Operate a company vehicle daily and follow safety procedures.
