Job summary

McKee Foods is seeking a District Sales Representative to drive customer development and relationships with independent distributors and retailers in the Georgia district including Waycross, Brunswick, Baxley, Kingsland, Hinesville and Folkston. You will support distributors and help grow snack cake product sales.

You’ll operate in a home-based setup, require the ability to start work at 4:00 AM, maintain a clean driving record, and collaborate with retailers and accounts to achieve sales goals

Qualifications

• 2+ total years of account management and/or sales leadership experience in food & beverage or grocery.
• Territory includes Waycross, Brunswick, Baxley, Kingsland, Hinesville and Folkston GA; candidate must live inside the district or relocate.
• Ability to develop accounts and build rapport with new and existing clients and distributors.
• Basic proficiency with business software and willingness to learn new tools (Google Workspace).
• Ability to work from home; must be an early riser with days starting around 4:00 AM.
• Clear driver’s record; advanced degree, training or military experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Build strong relationships with independent distributors in the district through sales assistance.
• Recruit and appoint quality candidates for distributorships.
• Offer quality orientation to new independent distributors.
• Act as liaison between McKee Foods and independent distributors.
• Develop good relationships with retailers in the district.
• Gain authorizations for products, space and promotions with retailers.
• Communicate regularly with independent distributors and assist in business planning.
• Operate a company sales territory when needed and balance DSR activity within four weeks of ending territory.
