Job summary

FMC Corporation, a global leader in agricultural sciences, is seeking a Field Sales Representative to drive growth across East & Central Illinois. You will manage distributor and retailer accounts, develop territory plans and present FMC crop protection solutions to customers.

Travel up to 50% and collaborate with technical and supply chain teams to deliver value-added service. A BS in Agriculture with 5+ years of sales experience is preferred; MBA or CPA/Crop Advisor credentials are a plus.

Qualifications

• BS in Agriculture or related Life Science with relevant sales experience.
• 5+ years of field sales experience in agricultural markets or related sectors.
• MBA or Certified Crop Advisor a plus.

Responsibilities

• Focus on sales targets, business development, building customer relationships and resolving issues.
• Develop and execute account plans, negotiating to meet sales targets and margins.
• Build customer business relationships and communicate value-added FMC solutions.
• Prepare presentations, call plans, proposals and reports for internal/external use.
• Forecast market information and customer needs to inform planning.
• Identify and develop new business opportunities within accounts or new accounts.
• Coordinate with technical and supply chain teams to service accounts.
• Identify opportunities leading to action plans and growth.
• Apply customer segmentation considering account financials.
• Collaborate with peers and corporate teams to drive results.
