Job summary

Travers Tool Co. in Los Angeles, CA is seeking a Field Sales Account Executive to own a defined territory covering the San Fernando Valley and Simi Valley, managing and growing metalworking and industrial accounts.

You will hunt for new business, deepen relationships within existing accounts, and act as the primary contact between customers and Travers’s full product and service offering. This is an outside sales role with daily customer-facing activity.

Qualifications

• 2+ years outside sales in industrial, manufacturing, or distribution.
• Knowledge of cutting tools and indexable tooling.
• Proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales goals.
• Valid driver’s license and reliable vehicle.

Responsibilities

• Own defined territory covering San Fernando Valley and Simi Valley; grow metalworking accounts.
• Prospect new business; deepen relationships within existing accounts; expand Travers product offerings.
• Coordinate with sales support, vendors, technical, and accounting to resolve inquiries.
• Log activities and opportunities in CRM; maintain pricing in ERP; develop 12-month plan.
