Job summary

Marine Home Center in Hyannis, MA is seeking an Outside Salesperson to plan and execute business strategies to grow sales, profitability, and operational efficiency. You will represent MDG by Premium’s mission and collaborate with Branch Manager to meet targets and build strong customer relationships.

You will travel locally to develop new prospects, meet with architects and contractors, prepare quotes, and support customers with design drawings and installation details.

Qualifications

• B.S. degree or equivalent 5-7 years’ work experience.
• Prior sales experience and knowledge of millwork products.
• Ability to lift ≥ 70 lbs and travel within the territory.
• Valid MA driver's license and clean driving record.
• Bilingual English/Spanish is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with Branch Manager to establish annual sales plan.
• Meet or exceed sales and margin goals.
• Travel the territory to develop customers and prospects.
• Review projects with architects/contractors and provide design support.
• Generate quotes and process orders according to procedures.
• Coordinate with Inside Sales to meet sales and service goals.
• Demonstrate products using samples and literature, keep literature current.
• Respond to customer inquiries within 24 hours.
• Represent the company at trade meetings and industry events.
• Maintain organized records and ensure safe, clean workspaces.
• Work nights/weekends for events or showroom coverage as needed.
