Job summary

RBC Bearings in Southwest Washington seeks a Field Sales Engineer to manage and grow the defined territory by partnering with customers, distributors, and internal teams. You will serve as the technical sales adviser for Dodge products, conduct site visits, and develop joint business plans with distributors while leveraging Salesforce and Power BI to forecast opportunities and track performance.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree (technical field preferred) or equivalent experience.
• 2–3 years of experience in the power transmission or industrial equipment industry.
• 1–2 years of Dodge product knowledge preferred.
• Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills.
• Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple accounts and priorities.

Responsibilities

• Develop territory sales plans aligned with company objectives.
• Identify new business opportunities and support conversions to Dodge products.
• Achieve year-over-year sales growth by increasing volume.
• Build strong relationships with distributor partners and end users.
• Conduct regular branch and customer site visits to maintain visibility and support local sales efforts.
• Serve as a trusted advisor and technical resource to customers.
• Collaborate with product marketing, engineering, and inside sales teams to support customer needs.
• Communicate product advantages and ensure customer satisfaction through consultative selling.
