Job summary

RBC Bearings is seeking a Field Sales Engineer to manage and grow sales in the Amarillo, TX region. You will serve as the technical sales liaison for Dodge products, engaging distributors and end users, and developing strategic plans for the assigned territory.

Ideal candidates bring 2–3 years in power transmission or industrial equipment, Dodge product knowledge, and strong communication and organizational skills to drive opportunities and long-term relationships.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree or equivalent technical experience.
2–3 years in power transmission or industrial equipment.
1–2 years Dodge product knowledge preferred.
Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills.
Strong organizational skills; ability to manage multiple accounts and priorities.
CRM experience and sales reporting tools (Salesforce preferred).

Responsibilities

Develop and execute territory sales plans aligned with company objectives.
Identify new business opportunities and support conversions to Dodge products through customer interaction.
Achieve year-over-year sales growth by expanding into new accounts.
Build relationships with distributor partners and end users.
Conduct regular branch and customer site visits to support local sales efforts.
Provide product recommendations and collaborate with marketing, engineering, and inside sales teams.
