Job summary

BigIron is hiring a full-time Equipment Sales Representative to support customers in agriculture by selling online auction services. You will manage an assigned local territory, work with farmers, ranchers, dealers, and ag businesses, and help customers market and sell equipment through BigIron’s online marketplace.

The role offers a base salary of $50,000–$75,000 with commission and performance-based earnings; total compensation typically ranges from $100,000–$150,000+.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of sales, territory management, or customer-facing business development experience.
• Strong communication and relationship-building skills.
• Ability to work independently and manage a schedule within territory.
• Willingness to travel regularly; valid driver's license.
• Comfortable in a performance-driven sales environment.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain relationships with farmers, ranchers, and local ag businesses.
• Prospect for new business through visits, referrals, networking, and outreach.
• Meet customers on farms, shops, and in territory.
• Evaluate equipment, discuss auction timing, pricing, and selling options.
• Secure consignment agreements for upcoming auctions.
• Coordinate with marketing and operations to prepare equipment for sale.
• Support customers through the auction process and after sale.
• Grow revenue within assigned territory.
