Job summary

Republic Services is seeking a Territory Executive to identify and develop new business within a defined market in the United States. The role involves selling the full suite of waste and recycling services, presenting to decision-makers, and building long-term customer relationships in commercial and industrial sectors.

The ideal candidate has at least five years in sales, experience in waste or service industries, and a valid driver’s license.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years of relevant sales experience.
• Minimum 2 years of direct selling in a customer-facing role.
• Waste or service industry experience.
• Valid driver’s license.

Responsibilities

• Identifies viable leads, manages prospects and acquires new, profitable commercial, industrial and recycling business to meet monthly revenue goals.
• Maintains long-term relationships with existing customers to ensure loyalty and retention.
• Follows up on leads within 2 hours and creates follow-up tasks in Salesforce to determine next steps.
• Delivers sales presentations to new and existing clients and closes sales to expand revenue."
• Uses Salesforce daily to document activities and develop prospect profiles for acquisition.
• Prepares and delivers sales presentations and follows up with key decision-makers.
