Job summary
Glen-Gery is seeking a territory sales professional to promote and sell the full line of Glen-Gery products to architects, developers, builders, contractors, remodelers, and distributors in the MD & VA region.
You will collaborate with the regional sales force, utilize lead services, and develop marketing and sales strategies to win specifications and close projects. Overnight travel is required to cover the territory.
Qualifications
- Self-motivated, able to work with limited supervision
- Strong interpersonal and written communication skills
- Proven sales record in building products or comparable industries
- Experience selling to architects, developers, contractors, and distributors
- Travel daily and overnight as required
Responsibilities
- Develop sales strategies for the assigned territory and identify opportunities
- Present new products and design ideas to builders, architects, and distributors
- Maintain existing accounts and handle orders, requests, and promotions
- Grow market share by researching referrals and new accounts
- Drive product specifications with architects and contractors to close projects
- Prepare timely sales reports and territory reviews
- Represent Glen-Gery at trade shows and industry events
- Collaborate with marketing and BD teams to promote promotions and promotions
