Job summary

IKO Metals is seeking a Contractor Sales Representative to cover the Dallas/Fort Worth market from a home office in Texas. The role targets new grads or junior salespeople with strong communication, organization, and closing skills, supported by a structured training program to prepare you to advance within two years.

You will spend most of your time calling on contractors, builders and architects, deliver product demonstrations, and collaborate with outside reps to grow sales and market share

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Sales, Management or Marketing.
• Strong communication, organization, and closing skills.
• Ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize.
• Experience in building products industry or B2B sales preferred.
• Must have valid driving record and willingness to travel up to 10%.

Responsibilities

• Organize & execute a territory sales plan to meet goals.
• Develop relationships with contractors, builders, and architects.
• Perform product demonstrations and education sessions.
• Spend 90% of time calling on customers in territory.
• Work with outside sales reps and inside teams.
• Monitor sales data and market conditions.
