Job summary

2020 Companies is seeking a Dell Brand Representative to build relationships and brand awareness inside retail stores in the New York area. You will educate shoppers, demonstrate devices, and partner with store personnel to expand Dell visibility.

The role requires strong communication, a consultative selling approach, and the ability to travel to multiple retailers. Competitive hourly pay, paid training, and incentives accompany a supportive team environment.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• 6+ months retail selling experience in consumer electronics or similar tech products preferred.
• 6+ months of training experience in direct marketing/retail environments.
• Excellent verbal and written communication, presentation and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to conduct consultative selling and overcome objections.
• Strong analytical and customer service orientation.
• Strong multi-tasking and time management.
• Willingness to travel within 70 miles of ideal market zip, occasional to other markets.
• Must have reliable transportation and state-required liability insurance.

Responsibilities

• Drive brand market share through direct and indirect sales activities engaging directly with customers and retail channel partners.
• Develop partnership with retail store management to foster sales driving activities with associates.
• Schedule and facilitate sales and product training with front line store associates and managers.
• Ensure current products are displayed, functional, and clean.
• Set Retail Display Resets and Refreshes as needed within assigned Markets.
• Opportunity to travel for Merchandising throughout the nation.
• Drive sales productivity through high quality sales interactions with customers.
• Build and maintain industry vertical affiliate distribution relationships.
• Effectively assess and communicate on-site needs such as marketing material and promotional collateral.
• Educate customers while making product recommendations.
• Meet or exceed personal sales productivity goals and key metrics.
