Job summary

Glazer’s Beer & Beverage is seeking a Sales Representative to maximize the sale of supplier brands through strategic territory planning, selling, and relationship management. You will make regular calls within an off-premise territory to cultivate customer relations and ensure satisfaction with service provided.

The role requires a minimum of an AA degree with 6 months to 2 years’ sales experience, a valid driver’s license, and the ability to obtain a State Sales Permit.

Qualifications

• Associate degree (A.A.) or equivalent from a two-year college or technical school plus six months to two years’ sales experience.
• Valid state motor vehicle operator’s license.
• Ability to secure and maintain a State Sales Permit in accordance with state laws and must be 21 years of age or older.
• Maintain automobile liability insurance of $100,000/$300,000 and $50,000 property damage at all times.
• Flexible hours including early mornings, evenings, and/or weekends.
• Overnight travel as required.
• Ability to add, subtract, and divide in all units of measure and analyze sales data.

Responsibilities

• Establish, develop, and maintain business relationships with customers in the assigned territory or market segment to generate new business.
• Research, organize and present sales reports/quota attainment results to management.
• Provide sales account management support and analyze current sales activity to meet quotas and objectives.
• Recommend and create programs utilizing supplier portfolio knowledge.
• Provide first-line customer support and document interactions to resolve issues.
• Understand customer needs and adhere to selling processes and policies.
• Participate in sales projects, evaluations, proposals, and presentations.
• Ensure accurate order information and use current sales system for order entry.
