Job summary

New Century FS, Inc. is seeking a Crop Specialist to drive sales of crop inputs including fertilizer, seed products, protection pesticides, and ag-finance services across Whitten/Albion, IA.

You will implement marketing plans, engage patrons with agronomic recommendations, and schedule product delivery to support customer success. The role emphasizes territory growth, customer relationship building, and adherence to company sales strategies, with travel within the trade area and required

Qualifications

• Requires an Associate’s Degree in agriculture, marketing, or business.
• Estimated sales activity and travel within territory are required.
• Experience with customer-facing roles and consultative selling is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Implements marketing plans and develops sales strategies that generate profitable sales in the assigned territory.
• Utilizes target marketing and sales techniques including the FS road map and cropping programs.
• Attends sales trainings and adheres to GROWMARK FS’s sales strategies.
• Meets sales goals as established by supervisor and develops territory knowledge.
• Provides agronomic product recommendations and schedules delivery and application at patron locations.
• Conducts patron meetings to strengthen relationships and drive sales.
• Verifies credit worthiness, quotes prices and prepares sales contracts as needed.
