Job summary

New Century FS, Inc. is seeking a Crop Associate to drive profitable sales in the Millersburg/Brooklyn, IA area. The role supports customers with agronomic guidance, product recommendations, and credit options while maintaining strong client relationships.

The position requires an Associate’s Degree in agriculture, marketing, or business and 1–2 years of related sales experience. Daily travel within the territory and adherence to company safety and credit standards are expected.

Qualifications

• Associate’s Degree in agriculture, marketing or business or equivalent.
• 1–2 years or more of business-related sales experience.
• Willingness to travel within territory daily.

Responsibilities

• Develops target marketing plans and trains on professional sales techniques using the FS interview road map and cropping programs.
• Travels to client locations within the territory to establish the GROWMARK brand and obtain orders for products and services.
• Develops territory and competitive analysis to stay current on the marketplace and competition.
• Adheres to GROWMARK’s sales and marketing strategies and attends sales trainings.
• Meets sales goals as established by supervisor.
• Conducts sales interviews, identifies customer needs, and offers value-added agronomic products and recommendations.
• Provides customer service by scheduling product deliveries, soil testing, crop scouting, and other programs; resolves complaints.
• Quotes prices and credit terms, prepares sales contracts, and promotes credit programs as a sales tool.
