Job summary

Preferred Mutual Insurance Company seeks an Agency Relationship Representative to build and strengthen relationships with independent agencies while driving profitable growth in Personal and Commercial Lines across a regional territory. The role partners with underwriting and claims teams to identify growth opportunities and deliver exceptional agency service.

The position requires 3+ years in P&C insurance, a bachelor’s degree in a related field, strong organization, and the ability to travel

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Insurance, or related field.
• 3+ years in property and casualty insurance (sales, underwriting, customer service, or agency) required.
• Residency in the regional area and valid driver’s license; ability to travel ~75% within territory.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain strong relationships with independent insurance agencies; conduct regular in-person visits and manage a structured travel calendar.
• Promote products, underwriting appetite, programs, and value proposition to agency partners; analyze production and profitability to increase activity.
• Collaborate with Personal Lines and Commercial Lines Underwriting teams to support agency growth and deliver exceptional service.
