Job summary

SafePoint Insurance is seeking an Agency Relations Manager to grow and develop a profitable North Carolina–South Carolina coastal territory. The role is based in the home office with a need to commute 50–70 miles within the region.

You will identify and recruit agents, implement strategic marketing plans, and collaborate with product and pricing teams. Excellent communication and a proactive, collaborative attitude are essential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in business administration, marketing, or related field.
• 3–5 years of account management and customer service experience.
• Property & Casualty insurance knowledge and underwriting familiarity.
• Licensure in Property & Casualty and/or Excess & Surplus (reciprocal licensure) where applicable.
• Excellent oral and written communication and presentation skills.

Responsibilities

• Scout and identify potential agencies for insurance programs.
• Identify agencies’ interests and growth potential; motivate agents to succeed.
• Initiate marketing processes within each agency to attract and retain business.
• Design and implement sales and marketing strategies for contracts.
• Represent the company at trade association meetings to promote products.
• Develop agency management plans and hold owners accountable for actions.
