Job summary

Siemens Energy is seeking a Territory Account Manager to manage a portfolio of accounts within an assigned territory, acting as the primary liaison between customers and the company. You will drive customer satisfaction, retention and revenue growth by understanding client needs and aligning Siemens Energy solutions.

The role requires 3–6 years in sales or account management in rotating equipment, strong communication and relationship-building skills, and willingness to travel to customer sites

Qualifications

  • 3 to 6 years of sales, account management, or engineering experience in the rotating equipment industry.
  • Proven ability to grow existing accounts and identify opportunities.
  • Strong communication, presentation and problem-solving skills.
  • Willingness to travel to customer sites within the assigned region.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and execute an annual Territory Plan to achieve sales and profitability objectives.
  • Manage customer accounts and relationships, ensuring satisfaction and identifying growth opportunities.
  • Coordinate and deploy sales and support resources to meet customer needs.
  • Manage sales opportunities, pipeline, forecasting, and win/loss reporting.
  • Lead projects and account planning activities, anticipating future business needs.
  • Resolve billing, service, contract, and account issues with cross-functional teams.

A Snapshot of Your Day

The Territory Account Manager manages a portfolio of accounts within anassigned territory, serving as the primary liaison between customers and SEI.The role is responsible for driving customer satisfaction, retention, andrevenue growth by understanding client needs, recommending appropriate productsand services, resolving issues, and identifying opportunities for accountexpansion. The Territory Account Manager develops strategic account plans,maintains regular customer engagement, and partners with internal teams toensure successful delivery of solutions and services.

How You’ll Make an Impact
  • Develop and execute an annual Territory Plan to achieve sales, growth,and profitability objectives within the assigned territory.
  • Manage customer accounts and relationships, ensuring satisfaction withSEI products and services while identifying opportunities for account growthand retention.
  • Coordinate and deploy sales and support resources effectively to meetcustomer needs and drive business results.
  • Manage sales opportunities, pipeline tracking, forecasting, competitiveanalysis, and win/loss reporting to support strategic decision-making.
  • Lead customer projects and account planning activities, proactivelyidentifying future business needs and recommending appropriate solutions.
  • Resolve billing, service, contract, and account-related issues whilecollaborating with cross-functional teams to ensure successful customeroutcomes and an exceptional client experience.
What You Bring
  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Business, or a related field, or anequivalent combination of education and experience.
  • 3 to 6 years of sales, account management, or engineering experience inthe rotating equipment industry, with knowledge of turbo machinery,reciprocating compressors, and steam turbine applications. Candidates withadditional experience may be considered for a higher-level position.
  • Proven ability to develop and maintain strong customer relationshipsacross all organizational levels and successfully grow existing accounts.
  • Demonstrated success in identifying, developing, and closing businessopportunities while achieving sales and profitability objectives.
  • Strong communication, listening, presentation, and problem-solvingskills, with the ability to remain professional and positive in challengingsituations.
  • Excellent organizational and time management skills, including territoryplanning, report preparation, CRM management, and regular travel to customersites within the assigned region.
