Job summary

Siemens Energy seeks a Project Lead Engineer to manage the complete technical scope for supplying new packaged rotating equipment for onshore and offshore projects. You will lead global technical project teams and serve as the primary technical contact for the Customer, collaborating closely with the project manager.

Responsibilities include directing technical aspects, scheduling engineering activities, budgeting, and guiding design decisions for control philosophies and equipment

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in an engineering field (Mechanical, Electrical, Controls or Petroleum preferred).
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in design, packaging, or operation of rotating equipment or auxiliary systems.
  • Detail oriented and organized.
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills are essential!
  • Ability to travel (Domestic or International) for meetings and site visits as needed.

The Project Lead Engineer handles the complete technical scope for supply of new packaged rotating equipment for onshore and offshore projects. This includes gas turbine-driven generators/compressors and electric motor-driven compressor trains, typically with extended plant scope (coolers, scrubbers, anti-surge valves, etc.)

The selected candidate will lead global technical project teams of multi-discipline engineers, designers and suppliers, and will be the primary contact for technical interactions with the Customer, working in collaboration with the project manager.

What You Bring
  • Bachelor’s degree in an engineering related field (Mechanical, Electrical, Controls or Petroleum is preferred).
  • Must have a minimum of 5 years of experience in design, packaging, or operation of rotating equipment or auxiliary systems for rotating equipment; Candidates with more years of experience may be eligible for a more senior level position.
  • Must be detail oriented and organized
  • Have the ability to identify problem areas and take initiative to resolve issues.
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills are essential!
  • Ability to travel (Domestic or International) for meetings and site visits as the need arises
