Job summary

FloWorks LLC is seeking an Account Executive for Slater Controls in El Paso, TX and Las Cruces, NM. You will represent Slater Controls’ valves, instrumentation, flow and analytical devices to refining, chemical, aerospace, power and midstream customers, building relationships and expanding the regional footprint.

The role requires proactive territory coverage, regular customer visits, strong product knowledge, and the ability to tailor solutions.

Qualifications

• 3–5 years of proven outside sales experience in industrial distribution.
• Strong knowledge of valves, instrumentation, flow meters, or analytical devices.
• Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
• Willing to travel extensively across the assigned territory and have a valid driver’s license.
• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Engineering, or related field preferred; equivalent mix of education and experience considered.

Responsibilities

• Develop and execute a territory sales strategy for El Paso, Las Cruces, and surrounding areas.
• Demonstrate in-depth knowledge of Slater Controls’ product range to customers.
• Identify customer needs and tailor solutions for refining, chemical, aerospace, power, or midstream markets.
• Stay updated on industry trends, competitors, and vendor developments.
• Achieve and exceed sales targets with regular reporting to management.
• Coordinate with inside sales and operations to ensure timely fulfillment of orders.
• Conduct on-site visits with new and existing customers to grow the territory.
• Provide exceptional after-sales support and foster long-term relationships.
