Job summary

Saicon is seeking a Network Development Engineer to join the Kuiper lab technical team in Redmond, WA. You will design and build the network that enables Kuiper, define the long-term vision, and implement terrestrial network solutions.

The role collaborates with engineers and leaders to define connectivity, provides technical leadership for global site deployments, and supports the full lifecycle of networking, including tooling and monitoring. Export control requirements apply.

Qualifications

• 4+ years of major internet routing protocols experience.
• 1+ years in a Linux/Unix environment.
• 3+ years with Cisco and/or Juniper network gear.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with engineers to define connectivity solutions for Kuiper.
• Provide technical leadership for terrestrial network plan and implementation.
• Define network solutions for Kuiper's launch, manufacturing, and lab sites.
• Support the full lifecycle of networking, including tooling and monitoring.
• Export Control compliance: U.S. citizen or national, U.S. permanent resident, or eligible status.
