Job summary

Amazon’s Project Kuiper is seeking a Software Development Engineer (SDE) to join the core technical team building ground-based traffic processing pipelines connecting Kuiper’s satellites to the world. You will architect software from the ground up, drive engineering culture, and mentor junior engineers within a highly collaborative environment.

Qualifications

3+ years of non-internship professional software development experience.
2+ years of design or architecture experience for new and existing systems.
Experience programming in at least one language.

Responsibilities

Develop code, build CI/CD pipelines, test automation, and dashboards for monitoring health of systems and data pipelines.
Work with cross-functional teams to gather requirements, design, develop, deploy, and operate the infrastructure you build.
Develop and mentor junior and new team members.
Engineer and build a cloud service that is reliable and available to provide connectivity for our customers.
Work on features that enhance the quality of service and security for our customers.
Collaborate across multiple teams to build networking functions on AWS cloud infrastructure and set best practices for software development processes.
