Job summary

Western Exterminator Company is seeking a Termite Technician to protect customers' properties from wood destroying organisms. You will inspect, prevent, and treat termite problems, while ensuring safety and accuracy in work orders.

You’ll communicate findings to customers and perform treatments per company guidelines. The role requires a high school diploma or GED, a valid driver's license, and strong attention to detail.

Qualifications

• Clean shaven face for safety reasons and PPE fit.
• High school diploma or GED.
• Must possess a valid driver's license in the state of residence.
• At least 1 year of customer service experience; termite control experience a plus.
• Strong attention to detail and willingness to learn.
• Flexible with working hours; Monday-Friday and Saturdays as needed.
• Licenses/certificates as required by regulations (covered by employer).
• Basic math skills for measuring and mixing on product labels.

Responsibilities

• Identify termite problems and knowledge of termite behaviors to determine steps.
• Perform termite treatment services safely according to guidelines.
• Apply anti-termite treatments to structures per instructions.
• Explain conditions conducive to termite activity to customers and discuss modifications.
• Verify that job specifications are appropriate for each work order.
• Operate and maintain service vehicles and equipment.
• Document services provided using production forms.
• Interact with customers and explain services performed.
