Job summary

Terminix is hiring for a Termite Technician to perform termite treatment services in a safety-conscious, guidelines-driven environment. You'll identify termite issues, explain conditions to customers, and work in crawl spaces and on structures while using inspection tools and power drills.

The role requires a high school diploma or GED, at least 2 years of customer service experience (termite control a plus), attention to detail, and the ability to obtain required licenses.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED.
• At least 2 years of customer service, experience in termite control a plus.
• Strong attention to detail and willingness to learn.
• Be flexible with working hours, Monday-Friday and Saturdays as needed.
• Ability to obtain and maintain licenses/certificates as required by federal, state and local regulations.
• Must possess a valid driver's license from state of residence.

Responsibilities

• Identify customer’s termite problems and possess knowledge of termite behaviors to determine remedial steps.
• Communicate critical conditions conducive to termite activity and discuss procedures and structural modifications.
• Enter and exit structures and crawl spaces; climb stairs and ladders as needed.
• Use application and inspection equipment; small hand tools and power drills.
