Job summary

Terminix is seeking a Termite Technician to protect customers' properties from wood-destroying organisms. You will perform inspections, prevention, and treatment services as a first line of defense, providing peace of mind for clients.

Responsibilities include identifying termite problems, applying treatments safely, and communicating with customers about procedures. A high school diploma or GED, a valid driver's license, and at least one year of customer service experience are required.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED.
• Valid driver’s license from state of residence.
• At least 1 year of customer service experience.
• Licenses/certificates as required by federal, state, and local regulations (covered by us).
• Basic math skills—add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, fractions, and decimals; follow instructions for mixing on product labels.

Responsibilities

• Identify customer’s termite problems and have knowledge of termite behaviors and habits to determine remedial steps
• Perform termite treatment services safely and according to company guidelines and standard practices
• Apply anti‑termite treatments to structures according to schedule, safety procedures and label instructions
• Communicate to the customer critical conditions that are conducive to termite activity, discuss procedures and structural modifications, which may be supplemental to the treatment process
• Verify that job specifications are appropriate for each work order
• Operate and maintain service vehicles and equipment
• Complete production forms documenting services provided
• Interact with customers and explain services provided
