Job summary

Rentokil Pest Control is seeking a Termite Technician to protect customers’ properties from wood destroying organisms. You will perform inspections, implement prevention and treatment measures, and communicate findings to clients.

Expect physically active field work, driving a company vehicle, and adherence to safety guidelines. Strong customer service and attention to detail are essential. We offer comprehensive benefits and opportunities for growth.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED.
• Must possess a valid driver’s license from state of residence (Company vehicle and gas card provided).
• At least 1 years of customer service, experience in termite control is a plus
• Strong attention to detail and willingness to learn
• Be flexible with working hours, Monday-Friday and Saturdays as needed
• Licenses/certificates as required by federal, state, and/or local regulations (covered by us)
• Basic math skills — add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals. You’ll need to be able to follow instructions for mixing on product labels.

Responsibilities

• Identify termite problems and determine remedial steps.
• Perform termite treatment services safely and according to guidelines.
• Apply anti-termite treatments to structures according to schedule, safety procedures and label instructions.
• Communicate to the customer critical conditions conducive to termite activity and discuss procedures and structural modifications.
• Verifying that job specifications are appropriate for each work order.
• Operate and maintain service vehicles and equipment.
• Completing production forms documenting services provided.
• Interacting with customers and explaining services provided.
