Job summary

Orkin is seeking a Termite Technician to inspect, identify, and treat termite infestations in residential and commercial properties. The role includes applying treatments, installing monitoring systems, and educating customers on prevention methods. Precision, safety awareness, and strong customer service are essential.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• State pest control license or ability to obtain one (training provided).
• Experience in pest control, construction, or home inspection preferred but not required.
• Ability to lift 50+ pounds and work in crawl spaces, attics, and outdoor environments.
• Knowledge of building structures and moisture control is a plus.
• Strong communication and customer service skills.
• Valid driver’s license and clean driving record.

Responsibilities

• Conduct termite inspections in homes and businesses to identify infestations or damage.
• Apply termite treatments including liquid termiticides, baiting systems, and wood treatments.
• Install and maintain termite monitoring or baiting stations.
• Prepare inspection reports, service records, and treatment area diagrams.
• Educate customers about termite prevention and maintenance programs.
• Follow state and federal regulations for pesticide handling and safety.
• Operate and maintain company equipment, including vehicles and injection systems.
• Collaborate with sales and service teams to ensure customer satisfaction.
• Attend training sessions to stay updated on pest control methods and safety standards.
