Job Summary

We are seeking a reliable and detail‑oriented Pest Control Technician to inspect, identify, and treat areas infested by insects, rodents, and other pests. The technician will work with both residential and commercial clients to provide safe and effective pest management solutions, following all safety guidelines and company protocols.

Responsibilities
  1. Inspection and Assessment: Inspect buildings and surrounding areas for signs of pest infestation.
  2. Treatment Planning: Develop appropriate pest control strategies based on findings. Choose safe and effective treatment methods (pest control products, mechanical, biological). Educate clients on the treatment plan, including safety precautions and follow-up requirements.
  3. Application of Treatments: Apply products, traps, or other control methods in accordance with regulations. Use equipment such as sprayers, bait stations, and foggers. Ensure treatments are applied safely, minimizing risk to people, pets, and the environment.
  4. Recordkeeping and Documentation: Maintain detailed records of services performed, products used, and treatment outcomes. Report pest issues and corrective actions to supervisors or clients.
  5. Customer Service: Communicate clearly with clients about pest control options and preventive measures. Address client concerns and provide follow-up visits when needed. Educate clients on ways to prevent future infestations.
  6. Compliance and Safety: Follow all local, state, and federal regulations regarding pest control product use and safety. Wear personal protective equipment (PPE) and adhere to company safety policies. Stay updated on pest control methods and legal requirements through ongoing training.
  7. Equipment Maintenance: Maintain and clean pest control tools and vehicles. Ensure all equipment is in proper working order before use.
