Job summary

HomeTeam Pest Defense is seeking a Termite Technician to service homeowners along designated routes, presenting a professional appearance and conducting inspections. You will diagnose pest issues, offer additional services when needed, and keep customers informed about ongoing treatments.

No prior experience is required as training is provided; you must be 18+, hold a valid driver’s license, and obtain termite/pest control licensing as part of the role.

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years or older with a high school diploma or GED.
• Must have a valid driver’s license.
• Ability to obtain termite technician or pest control licensing (company paid).

Responsibilities

• Provide exceptional customer service to homeowners on your route.
• Present a professional, tidy appearance including truck, equipment and uniform.
• Diagnose pest issues with homeowners and discuss additional services or products when appropriate.
• Keep customer informed about the service and schedule.
• Submit legible, accurate service tickets to office staff.

Responsibilities

As a HomeTeam Termite Technician, you can expect to:

• Provide exceptional customer service to homeowners every day as you work your route
• Present a professional, tidy appearance, including your company truck, equipment, and uniform
• Discuss and diagnose pest issues with homeowners, offering additional services or products when needed or desired
• Obtain your pest control Registered Technician credentials
• Keep your knowledge sharp by attending company provided pest & termite control training classes regularly
• Submit legible, accurate service tickets to office staff
• Complete home drawings (termites) and provide to office staff
• Keep customer informed about the service
• Stay motivated and focused while you work independently

Termite Technicians perform chemical pretreats to lots prior to a foundation pour, and final grade treatments to newly built homes that have yet to be occupied. They are typically on construction sites and must be aware of all safety protocols.
