Job summary

HomeTeam Pest Defense is seeking a Termite Technician in Jacksonville, FL. You will service homeowners along your route, diagnose termite issues, and maintain a professional image with company gear and vehicle. Training and licensing support are provided to become a registered pest control technician.

Responsibilities

• Provide exceptional customer service to homeowners on your route.
• Present a professional, tidy appearance, including your company truck, equipment, and uniform.
• Discuss and diagnose pest issues with homeowners, offering additional services or products when needed.
• Obtain pest control Registered Technician credentials.
• Attend company-provided pest & termite control training classes.
• Submit legible, accurate service tickets to office staff.
• Complete home drawings (termites) and provide to office staff.
• Keep customer informed about the service.
• Stay motivated and focused while working independently.
• Perform chemical pretreats on sites prior to foundation pours and final grade treatments for unoccupied homes.

Responsibilities

As a HomeTeam Termite Technician, you can expect to:

• Provide exceptional customer service to homeowners every day as you work your route
• Present a professional, tidy appearance, including your company truck, equipment, and uniform
• Discuss and diagnose pest issues with homeowners, offering additional services or products when needed or desired
• Obtain your pest control Registered Technician credentials
• Keep your knowledge sharp by attending company provided pest & termite control training classes regularly
• Submit legible, accurate service tickets to office staff
• Complete home drawings (termites) and provide to office staff
• Keep customer informed about the service
• Stay motivated and focused while you work independently
• Termite Technicians perform chemical pretreats to lots prior to a foundation pour, and final grade treatments to newly built homes that have yet to be occupied.
• They are typically on construction sites and must be aware of all safety protocols.

Qualifications

No experience required – training will be provided!

• Must be 18 years or older with a high school diploma or GED
• Ability to obtain termite technician or pest control licensing (company paid)

• Candidates must meet physical job requirements and safely perform the job duties with or without accommodations:
• Safely use a ladder within the manufacturer's weight capacity
• Lift and carry up to 50 lbs.
