Job summary

Global Partners LP is seeking an experienced BI Analytics Manager for the Terminals unit to lead a team of analysts in delivering data-driven insights across terminal operations. You will design dashboards, define KPIs, and deploy modern analytics platforms to optimize profitability and efficiency.

You will collaborate with leadership and cross-functional teams to translate business questions into analytical plans, perform deep analyses, and communicate strategic recommendations with compelling

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Business Analytics, Data Analytics, CS, IS, Statistics or related quantitative field.
• 5-7+ years in BI or Data Analytics with progressive responsibility.
• 2-3+ years leading projects or mentoring analytical staff.
• Proven ability translating business needs into analytical solutions and insights.
• Experience in Retail, C-Store, eCommerce or related industries.
• Expert-level SQL for complex data extraction and analysis.
• Deep expertise with BI platforms (Tableau, Power BI, Looker) including dashboards, development, and optimization.
• Excellent data storytelling and communication to diverse audiences.
• Strong leadership and collaboration skills; ability to manage analysts as a player-coach.
• Exposure to data prep/modeling tools (dbt, sqlmesh) and Python or R.

Responsibilities

• Lead and mentor a team of BI analysts, fostering rigor and curiosity.
• Partner with Retail leadership to define KPIs and analytical frameworks.
• Translate business questions into testable hypotheses and plans.
• Oversee end-to-end BI solutions including dashboards and reports.
• Communicate findings clearly to senior leadership with data storytelling.
• Perform deep-dive analyses using SQL, BI tools, and Python/R.
• Own design and improvement of core Retail dashboards and reporting.
• Promote data literacy and governance within Retail analytics.
• Collaborate with central data teams to evolve data models and infrastructure.
• Apply statistical techniques or forecasting to address retail challenges.
• Champion data quality and governance in Retail analytics.
