Job summary

Global Partners LP is seeking a Business Intelligence Analytics Manager for the Terminals unit. You will lead a team of BI analysts, partner with leadership and operations to design timely analytics, KPIs, and dashboards that drive profitability and efficiency across terminal operations.

You will leverage SQL, Tableau, Snowflake, dbt, and Fivetran to empower decision-making, develop forecasting capabilities, and inform pricing, scheduling, and asset utilization.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a quantitative field.
• 5-7+ years in BI or Data Analytics with progressive responsibility.
• 2-3+ years of leading projects or mentoring analytical staff.
• Experience translating business needs into analytical solutions in Retail/eCommerce contexts.
• Expert-level SQL for complex data extraction and analysis.
• Deep expertise with major BI platforms including dashboard design, development, and performance optimization.
• Strong data storytelling and communication skills for diverse audiences.
• Leadership, mentoring, and collaboration to develop analysts as a player-coach.
• Excellent business acumen and problem-solving in a retail context.
• Exposure to dbt, sqlmesh; Python or R for analytics.
• Experience with cloud data warehouses like Snowflake.

Responsibilities

• Lead and mentor a team of BI analysts, fostering analytical rigor and a culture of curiosity.
• Partner with Retail leadership to define KPIs and develop analytical frameworks to measure performance.
• Translate ambiguous business questions into testable analyses and proactively identify high-impact opportunities.
• Lead end-to-end development of BI solutions, dashboards, and reports using SQL and BI platforms.
• Present complex findings clearly to senior leadership through data storytelling and visuals.
• Perform deep-dive analyses using SQL, BI tools, and Python/R to quantify impact and opportunities.
• Own design and improvement of core Retail dashboards and reporting suites.
• Champion data literacy, promote self-service BI, and governance within Retail.
• Collaborate with central data teams to influence data models and infrastructure for analytics.
• Apply statistical techniques or forecasting to address retail challenges (nice-to-have).
• Promote data quality, governance, and consistency within Retail analytics.
