Job summary

Imperative Chemical Partners seeks a Lead Analytics Engineer to own semantic layer (gold marts), standardize certified metrics, and design enterprise Power BI architectures. You will translate business metrics into data models, oversee dataset certification, and guide BI strategy across the organization.

The role focuses on hands-on data modeling, governance, and mentoring, delivering scalable dashboards and insights that drive data-driven decision making in a fast-paced chemical industry

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in a related field or equivalent experience.
• Extensive experience with BI tools and data warehousing concepts.
• Proficiency in SQL and PySpark for large-scale analytics.
• Experience with Fabric Lakehouse and governance practices.
• Ability to mentor and drive BI strategy.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with stakeholders to design reports and dashboards.
• Develop semantic models and Databricks gold-layer architecture.
• Lead dimensional modeling and certify metrics.
• Write advanced SQL queries across Snowflake, Azure SQL, and Databricks.
• Oversee data governance, lineage, and documentation.
• Mentor team and drive BI strategy.
