Job summary

Global Partners LP seeks a BI Analytics Manager for the Terminals unit to lead a team of analysts and partner with leadership to drive data-driven decisions. You will define KPIs, build end-to-end BI solutions, and deliver dashboards that inform terminal capacity, pricing, scheduling, and asset utilization.

Ideal candidates bring 5–7+ years in BI/data analytics, strong SQL and major BI tool experience (Tableau/Power BI/Looker), and a proven ability to translate business needs into actionable

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a quantitative field.
• 5+ years in BI or Data Analytics with growth in responsibilities.
• 2–3+ years leading projects or mentoring staff.
• Proven experience translating business needs into analytical solutions in retail contexts.
• Expert SQL skills for data extraction and analysis.
• Deep expertise with major BI platforms; dashboard design and optimization.
• Strong storytelling and communication to diverse audiences.
• Exposure to data prep/modeling tools (dbt, sqlmesh).
• Experience with Python or R for analysis and automation.
• Familiarity with Snowflake or BigQuery.

Responsibilities

• Lead and mentor a team of BI analysts (player-coach).
• Define KPIs with Retail leadership and build analytical frameworks.
• Translate business questions into testable hypotheses and plans.
• Develop, deliver, and optimize BI solutions and dashboards.
• Communicate findings clearly to senior leadership through data storytelling.
• Perform deep-dive analyses to identify growth or optimization opportunities.
• Own design and improvement of core Retail dashboards and reports.
• Champion data literacy and promote self-service BI adoption.
• Collaborate with central data teams to evolve data models and infrastructure.
• Explore basic forecasting or statistical methods for retail challenges.
• Ensure data quality, governance, and consistency in Retail analytics.
