Job summary

Buckeye Partners L.P. is seeking a Terminal Scheduler to manage inventory and coordinate product movements at its terminal locations. This role requires interacting with customers, terminal personnel, and third-party schedulers to optimize tank utilization and ensure timely deliveries.

The ideal candidate has 1+ year in refined products scheduling, experience with inventory control software, and proficiency in Microsoft Office. On-call duties and travel may be required.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• College degree in business or logistics is preferred.
• 1+ year of refined products scheduling experience preferred.
• Proficiency using inventory control software (Toptech Systems, Inc.) is preferred.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office/365 is required.

Responsibilities

• Manage product inventory and tank utilization at assigned Buckeye Terminal locations.
• Coordinate product movements with customers, terminal personnel, and schedulers from 3rd parties for pipeline, marine, truck, and rail movements.
• Operate Buckeye Scheduling Tool, Terminal Customer Portal, Tophat/TMS, and Transport4.
• Logistics planning, inventory management, and reconciliation including EOM inventory close.
• Provide exceptional customer service and act as the Buckeye guide for assigned customers.
