Job summary

Buckeye Partners is seeking a Terminal Scheduler to manage inventory and tank utilization at assigned terminal locations, coordinating product movements with customers, terminal staff, and third-party schedulers. Knowledge of pipeline, marine, truck, and rail movements is essential.

The role requires strong communication, organization, and problem-solving skills. On-call 24/7, with a preference for candidates who understand refined products scheduling and inventory control systems.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent required.
• College degree in business or logistics preferred.
• 1+ year of refined products scheduling experience preferred.
• Familiarity with petroleum industry or field operations is preferred.
• Proficiency with Toptech Systems and Microsoft Office is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to terminal customers and resolve questions and issues promptly.
• Coordinate product movements with customers, terminal personnel, and schedulers for pipeline, marine, truck, and rail logistics.
• Monitor inventory, nominations, and allocations to maximize tank utilization.
• Assist with inventory reconciliation and end-of-month closings.
• Support terminal operations and use of scheduling tools and portals.
