Job summary

Amrize is seeking a Terminal Operator at our Madison, WI location to safely operate equipment and manage loading/unloading across rail, waterway, and road channels. You will ensure order accuracy, maintain records, and support clerical tasks while upholding health and safety standards.

The role requires 1–3 years of experience, a high school diploma or GED, and a valid driver's license. Basic computer skills and SAP proficiency are expected; training on plant-specific processes will be provided.

Qualifications

• Required Education: High School diploma/GED.
• Required Work Experience: 1 - 3 years.
• Licenses Preferred: Valid Driver’s License.
• Required Computer and Software Skills: Basic knowledge about computers, Microsoft Office and SAP.
• Additional Requirements: see duties and safety policies.

Responsibilities

• Maintain grounds, offices, warehouse, yard, etc.
• Carry out tasks related to loading/unloading material for rail, waterway, and road transportation.
• Understand and operate truck loading equipment.
• Operate and conduct general maintenance on mobile equipment and assist with general mechanical maintenance.
• Sample product from trucks and barges following company policies.
• Maintain accurate maintenance records on all terminal equipment.
• Perform clerical functions
• Demonstrate commitment to health, safety and environmental policies in all work environments and areas; promote safety culture.
• Other duties as assigned.
