Job summary

Amrize in Chicago-West Lemont Terminal IL is seeking a Terminal Operator to safely load and unload bulk shipments, monitor equipment, and maintain terminal operations. You will work with a team to ensure accuracy of shipments and adherence to safety policies.

Requirements include a high school diploma or GED and 1–3 years of relevant experience; a valid driver's license is preferred. Training on PPE, safety procedures, and equipment is provided.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Operate and monitor terminal equipment and loads/unloads trucks, barges, and railcars.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the terminal.
• Assist with preventative maintenance and repairs on equipment.
• Process paperwork for shipments accurately.
• Communicate with Terminal Managers, customers, and suppliers.
• Adhere to health, safety, and environmental policies.
