Responsibilities

• Gauges tanks and completes tank gauging.
• Prepares daily, weekly, and monthly reports.
• Inspects all facility equipment visually (pumps, valves).

• Maintains knowledge of piping, pumps, valves, water lines, gas lines, electrical conduits, switches and controls.
• Knows locations of emergency shut off and disconnect points at all times.
• Complies with safe work practices and processes.

Position Summary:

The Terminal Operator is responsible for the safe and efficient operation of equipment at a terminal orstorage facility. The position performs tasks such as loading and unloading shipments, monitoring storagetanks and pipelines, and ensuring compliance with regulations. The Terminal Operator shouldhave experience in terminal operations, strong attention to detail, and good communication skills.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

• The essential functions include, but are not limited to the following:
• Completes the gauging of tanks.
• Prepares daily, weekly, and monthly reports.
• Inspects all facility equipment visually, including pumps and valves.
• Samples and test products for quality control.
• Maintains knowledge of all piping, pumps valves, water lines, gas lines and electrical conduits,
• switches, and controls.
• Maintains knowledge of the location of all emergency shut off and disconnect locations at all
• times.

Other Functions:

• Complies with safe work practices, policies, and processes at all times.
• Performs other related duties as assigned.
