World Oil Transportation in Bakersfield, CA is seeking a Commercial Driver with a Class A CDL to deliver hazardous waste and materials. This full-time role offers starting pay of $25 per hour with raises per wage progression, and a benefits package including medical and 401(k).

Shifts are late mornings to late evenings, with pay range $25–$32 per hour. Candidates must pass a drug test as part of screening and hold Hazmat, TSA, Tanker, and Air Brake endorsements.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Commercial Class A CDL with Hazmat, TSA, Tanker, and Air Brake endorsements.
• 1–2 years of experience driving a commercial vehicle and maintaining a Class A license.
• Hazmat and tanker experience is a plus.
• TWIC card and petroleum experience are a plus.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
• Friday - Tuesday shift with start times 12PM–3PM.

Responsibilities

• Operates commercial motor vehicle and associated equipment safely.
• Performs pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections.
• Complies with all required regulatory requirements and company policy.
• Completes paperwork including manifest, shipping, and receiving documents.
• Maintains telephone or radio contact with supervisor on shift.
• Loads and unloads truck, which may include hazardous waste and/or materials.
• Communicates with customers, supervisors, and other employees effectively.
• Uses good judgment in making decisions in emergencies and routine situations.

We are seeking a commercial Driver with a CLASS A CDL for a Full-Time position in Bakersfield to work late mornings or late shifts. In this role you will Pick up and deliver hazardous waste and/or material such as crude oil, gas oil, and other products at various customer locations. This may include operation of a cargo tank.

Pay Range: $25-$32 per hour.

Starting pay is $25.00 per hour with future increases based on the company's established wage progression.

The essential functions include, but are not limited to the following:

• Operates commercial motor vehicle and associated equipment safety.
• Performs pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections.
• Complies with all required statutory, regulatory requirements, and company policy.
• Completes appropriate paperwork and forms, including but not limited to manifest, shipping, and receiving documents.
• Maintains telephone or radio contact with supervisor at all times on shift.
• Loads and unloads truck, which may include hazardous waste and/or materials.
• Communicates with customers, supervisors, and other employees effectively.
• Uses good judgment in making decision, in emergency and routine situations.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent (G.E.D.).
• Commercial Class A Driver's License with Hazmat, TSA, Tanker, and Air Brake endorsements
• At least 1-2year of experience driving a commercial vehicle and maintaining a Commercial Class A driver's license required
• Tanker experience a plus
• TWIC card and petroleum experience a plus
• Ability to lift up to 50LBS.
• Manual and Automatic Transmission required
• Friday - Tuesday (possible adjustment)
• Start times may vary between 12PM - 3PM, depending on operational needs.
