Carrix, Inc./SSA Marine, Inc. in Tacoma, WA is seeking an Operations Labor Manager to direct and coordinate union labor, equipment, and operational resources while ensuring safety, efficiency, and cost discipline across terminal operations.

You will exercise independent judgment, interpret CBAs, plan staffing and deployment, monitor productivity, and lead incident investigations, reporting to senior management.

Competenze

• Minimum 5 years of experience managing related union labor.
• Minimum 5 years of experience in terminal operations, cargo stowage and stability, and local union dispatching rules.
• College degree is preferred, or equivalent experience in Operations Management or related field.

Mansioni

• Directs and manages union labor personnel per policy and CBAs.
• Directs work of foremen, supervisory clerks, and other personnel based on requirements.
• Interprets and enforces CBAs in day-to-day operations.
• Investigates workplace incidents and escalates to senior management as needed.
• Determines workforce composition and equipment needs to execute plans.
• Monitors productivity and implements corrective actions.
• Reviews operational documentation and ensures equipment readiness and regulatory compliance.
