Carrix, Inc./SSA Marine, Inc. seeks an Operations Labor Manager to lead union labor, oversee terminal operations, and ensure safe, compliant, and cost-effective execution across multiple terminals.

The role requires independent judgment, strong labor relations, and a focus on productivity and safety. The position reports to senior management, emphasizes performance standards, and requires proficiency with terminal operating systems, OSHA/HAZMAT awareness, and gear readiness.

Competenze

• Minimum 5 years in union labor management.
• Minimum 5 years in terminal operations and local dispatching rules.
• College degree preferred or equivalent experience.
• Demonstrated leadership.
• Familiarity with computerized terminal operating systems.
• Valid driver's license and TWIC card.

Mansioni

• Directs and coordinates hiring, assignment, evaluation, discipline, and termination of labor personnel in line with policy and CBAs.
• Directs foremen and supervisory staff according to requirements and workforce availability.
• Interprets and enforces CBAs in day-to-day operations.
• Investigates incidents and labor complaints; reports findings to senior management.
