Job summary

Cooper Consolidated, LLC, a leader in cargo handling along the lower Mississippi River, seeks an Operations Location Supervisor to oversee day-to-day activities at the LaPlace location. You will manage staff, safety, scheduling, and production forecasts to ensure compliant, efficient, and profitable operations while maintaining a positive community image.

Responsibilities include staffing, training, audits, and coordinating with vessel officers.

Qualifications

• Oversee all logistics processes and optimizes transportation resources.
• Working knowledge of OSHA, EPA guidelines, safety procedures.
• Strong leadership and communication skills with all levels of staff.

Responsibilities

• Oversee day-to-day operations at the assigned location to ensure safe, efficient, and profitable operations.
• Supervise employees in all activities for all applicable operations at the location(s).
• Lead safety program activities, conduct monthly safety meetings, and set safety goals.
• Ensure compliance with OSHA, safety, and environmental regulations; enforce PPE use.
• Develop, revise production forecasts with input from relevant departments.
