Job summary

Cooper Consolidated is seeking a capable operations supervisor to manage day-to-day activities at the Belle Chasse, LA location. The role focuses on safe, efficient, and profitable operations, guiding staff, ensuring regulatory compliance, and maintaining strong community relations.

Responsibilities include leading the safety program, scheduling, training, performance management, and coordinating production forecasts with other departments.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Bachelor's degree preferred.
• 3+ years of experience in related business unit.

Responsibilities

• Oversee day-to-day operations at assigned location ensuring safe, efficient, and profitable performance.
• Manage location staff including staffing, training, and performance expectations.
• Lead safety programs; conduct monthly safety meetings and ensure compliance with safety regulations.
• Coordinate with management to develop production forecasts and staffing plans.
• Ensure regulatory compliance (OSHA, EPA) and proper PPE usage.
• Coordinate with vendors, audits, and inventory controls.
• Promote positive image within local communities.
