You will lead safety briefings, coach teams, and coordinate with vessel officers while managing costs and documenting activities. The ideal candidate has 5 years of stevedoring/marine industry experience, leadership skills, and a strong safety mindset.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• 5 years' stevedoring/marine industry experience with management.
• Knowledge of safety, OSHA, and vessel/barge operations.

Responsibilities

• Oversee and direct staff performing stevedoring tasks to ensure safe, efficient operations.
• Lead pre-shift meetings, coach staff, and enforce safety program compliance.
• Coordinate loading/unloading with vessel officers and maritime fleets.
• Manage labor and equipment costs and track daily logs and payroll documents.
• Interact professionally with customers and third parties; support staffing decisions.
