Cooper Consolidated, LLC is seeking a skilled leader to join the team in a pivotal role within our marine and barge operations. You will participate in safety programs, coach staff, and oversee loading and unloading activities to ensure efficient, compliant operations.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• 5 years' experience in stevedoring/marine industry; experience with management and customer relations.
• Strong knowledge of vessel stevedoring operations, safety and regulatory requirements.

Responsibilities

• Participate in the Safety Program; lead pre-shift meetings; coach staff on safety.
• Oversee barge and vessel loading/unloading to ensure efficient operations and compliance.
• Lead staff on customer service and cost management.
• Analyze workload and assign personnel; coordinate with vessel officers for efficiencies.
• Prepare and submit required safety reports and payroll time sheets.
• Communicate with customers and manage staffing development activities.
