Job summary

AMPORTS in the United States seeks a VDC Terminal Manager to lead daily terminal operations, drive safety, quality, and customer satisfaction, and support financial performance. You will manage resources, monitor service levels, and partner with customers and vendors to meet commitments.

You will oversee budgeting, QMS compliance, audits, and continuous improvement initiatives while coaching and developing a high-performing team in a fast-paced port environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree from an accredited four-year college or university or equivalent.
• Minimum two years of related operations, logistics, terminal, or industrial management experience.
• Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills.
• Ability to manage operational priorities while maintaining safety and customer service standards.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications and business systems.

Responsibilities

• Direct daily terminal operations to ensure safe, efficient, and productive performance.
• Enforce company policies, procedures, and operational standards.
• Monitor operational activities and conduct routine terminal inspections for efficiency.
• Maintain a safe working environment by supporting established safety programs.
• Assist in development and management of annual operating budgets.
• Review financial reports and identify opportunities for cost improvements.
• Maintain QMS compliance and support audits, inspections, and corrective actions.
• Provide leadership, direction, coaching, and performance oversight for terminal staff.
