Job summary

Central Transport LLC is seeking a Terminal Manager to lead dock operations at our Illinois terminal, directing loading/unloading, staffing, and KPI-driven performance. The role demands strong leadership, crew coaching, and a focus on safety and service excellence.

The ideal candidate will have LTL management experience, excellent communication, and a demonstrated ability to manage multiple tasks while ensuring high-quality operations. A Bachelor’s degree is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Oversee dock operations at the terminal.
• Manage loading/unloading, forklift traffic, and palletized freight sorting.
• Recruit, hire, onboard, and retain terminal staff.
• Provide leadership to drivers and dock workers.
• Monitor dock production to meet KPIs and safety standards.
• Ensure compliance with DOT/OSHA and company policies.
• Support a culture of operational excellence and adaptability.
