Qualifications

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Self-starter with minimal supervision and high execution.
• Knowledge of transportation, logistics, and the Houston market.
• Understanding of margins and driver pay; organizational skills.

Responsibilities

• Oversee day-to-day terminal operations and dispatch planning.
• Set priorities for dispatchers and schedulers throughout the day.
• Collaborate with Safety, Driver Recruitment, Customer Service, and Sales.
• Manage driver cost, productivity, and P&L for profitability.
• Dispatch as needed with knowledge of GWI processes.
• Monitor volumes, capacity, KPI targets, yards, and driver needs.
• Communicate freight needs with the scheduling group.
• Track assets and coordinate with M&R and management.
• Resolve conflicts between contractors and dispatch per policy.
