Job summary

Buckeye Partners is seeking an Apprentice Terminal Operator in Tampa, FL to learn the operation and maintenance of the terminal, pipeline, marine, and rail assets. You will gain hands-on experience with receipt, storage, and inventory control of petroleum products while adhering to safety and environmental regulations.

Successful candidates will have 0-2+ years in terminal/pipeline/marine ops, a strong mechanical aptitude, and the ability to work under pressure.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent required.
• 0-2+ years related experience in terminal, pipeline or marine operations preferred.
• Able to work extended hours, on-call, and in challenging environments.

Responsibilities

• Assist in maintenance and repair of terminal loading rack and equipment.
• Learn receipt, storage and distribution of petroleum products via pipeline, rail and marine.
• Ensure compliance with safety, environmental and regulatory requirements.
• Maintain relationships with terminal customers and respond to inquiries.
• Participate in emergency response drills and incident investigations.
